Almost 2 years ago, I started a series on the ForgeCraft 2 server (then running Minecraft 1.7.10) and had the mad inspiration to do a series entirely while morphed into a Chicken. That kickstarted a fascination and dream that I didn’t think I would be able to return to.. until just a few months ago. This is when the dream was sparked back to life when a confluence of proper mods finally struck.
The coop life… could be mine once again.
Little did I realize that it would take a village to make this dream come true.
The brainstorming started back in December of 2016, when one type of ‘morphing mod’ came out; a mod which I thought might revitalize this idea. It quickly became apparent that this first mod was not the best fit for my plans.. but it sparked an idea that slowly started to germinate in the back of my brain. Over the following weeks the concept of a pack concentrating on agriculture and the farming lifestyle started to form. Mods like Chickens seemed like a sign from above that this pack had to happen, but I wasn’t sure if I was up to the task long term.
Thankfully several people in a wonderful group of people known as The League of Ordinary Gamers stepped up to help me out, and make sure this dream would actually become reality. After that, mod authors from across the Modded Minecraft community started coming out of the woodwork and helping us solve some of the unique challenges we’ve faced while compiling this pack. I didn’t make this project alone, it really did take a village to make it happen.
With that being said, I’d like to take the time to thank all of these wonderful people that have helped get us to the point we are at: Coop Life is almost ready for primetime… marking my return to the idyllic chicken life.
BIG THANKS TO ALL OF THE FOLLOWING PEOPLE!

The Dark Preacher
Finally I’d like to give a HUGE thanks to the following mod devs, without whom this pack would not be possible!
We’ve got four custom mods that came to exist because of this pack and the strange circumstances that it created. All of these mods, some small .. others large, have really gone the extra mile to improve our Mod Pack experience with Coop Life well beyond what it would have been capable of on its own. Thanks to everyone here (and anyone I might have forgotten, sorry!). Be you tester or modder, server op or idea provider … all of you made the creation of this pack so much more amazing than it ever could have been!
